About Harlick
Louis Harlick founded the company in San Francisco in 1933, initially making riding boots and ballet shoes; the ice show Ice Capades brought the business of custom figure skating boots. In the late 1950s the Henderson family took over the company, which it still runs today. The workshop is now in San Carlos (California). Harlick makes stock boots and custom boots built on its own lasts from foot measurements; according to the website, with more than 50 options. Consultation and fitting are also possible virtually.
