Editorial guidelines

How IceHub selects, creates, checks and corrects news.

    Sources

    • IceHub uses official sources, associations, leagues, teams, organisers and suitable media.
    • The original source is named and linked on every article.
    • Structured IceHub data (e.g. schedule and results) may be used for context.

    Use of automation and AI

    • Automated systems and AI assist with research, structuring and editorial preparation.
    • Match reports labelled “Match report” are created automatically from the result data of the IceHub schedule.
    • Generated illustrations are labelled as such and not presented as a photo of the event described. Archive and context photos are labelled “Archive photo”.

    Fact check

Before publication, every processed game report is automatically checked against the game data, where available in the IceHub schedule: final score, home and away team, winner and the number of goal scorers named. If there’s a discrepancy, the article is not published but held back for review. Invented attributions and empty filler sentences are removed.

    Corrections and updates

Errors can be reported by email to support@icehub.app . Substantial changes are labelled on the article with “Updated” and the date. IceHub doesn’t simulate freshness: an article is not artificially redated just to make it seem newer.

    Ownership and responsibility

IceHub is operated by MIOSMEDIA ONLINE S.L.U.. Editorial responsibility lies with Michael Ostendorf.
